Puppy Application Process
In the first instance, do not hesitate to call us. We absolutely love talking all things canine! We’d love the opportunity to have an informal discussion about our dogs, our philosophies and your requirements and to ensure we are aligned. We find video calls an ideal opportunity to meet us, our puppies and our adult dogs. This is especially handy when geography may be a barrier to a physical meeting. We also organise regular home opens. We regularly update our social pages. There are thousands of photos on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Many of our videos are posted to YouTube.
Once you have decided that you are ready to welcome a Great Southern Groodle into your life, we will direct you to our online application form. We require further information about you, who you live with, your weekly routine and your expectations. We genuinely want to set you up with the pawfect companion and in order to do that we need to get to know you.
Once you complete an application form an automated email will respond acknowledging receipt of your application. It will also request a $250 fee, which will be deducted from the cost of your puppy. This confirms that you are committed to bringing home a Great Southern Groodle within the next 12 months. Vicky will then contact you within 48 hours to confirm you have been accepted as a new puppy home.
Refunds will be available where a puppy is not available within 12 months. Once the litter is born, you will be first to hear! All new families will be added to our private group so that you can experience this journey together. You will receive daily photos, videos and weekly video calls. We will invite you to visit at 4 weeks so that you can meet the puppies in person. Once you have selected a specific puppy, we will request a 10% deposit. During the next few weeks we will regularly update you on your puppy’s progress. Once ready for their new homes at 8 weeks, we make arrangements with you for delivery or collection.

- Detailed Temperament Testing completed by a highly qualified Trainer Dr Alice, Head of Puppy Development at the West Australian Assistance and Therapy Dog Inc
- Lifetime breeder support – we supply support from your first enquiry, with ideas on how to prepare your home, training ideas and everything from canine enrichment to recommendations for groomers
- Successfully completed the unique Great Southern Groodles Puppy Acclimation Program
- A lifetime rehoming policy – if your circumstances change you can return the dog to us, no judgement, no questions asked
- Fully vet checked, vaccinated & microchipped to new owner's name
- Parasite free with fortnightly doses of Drontal all wormer
- 6 weeks complimentary insurance
- A goody bag including 2 weeks worth of Black Hawk Puppy food
- Health Guarantee & full sales contract for full peace of mind
Flights and Transport – Domestic and International
We engage the services of an industry leading pet transport company. We personally oversee every detail when transporting puppies throughout Australia.
We will personally deliver your puppy to Perth airport, settle him into his crate, ensure his water is fresh and available. We will snuggle him in with his snuggle rug and call you as we leave the airport. You will be waiting at your nearest airport when he lands or we can organise transport to your door. In preparation for his journey we will play airport noises including planes taking off and landing, we will ensure he spends time in his crate and we will take him on several car journeys. We find this preparation really helps him have a relaxed, happy flight and generally, they sleep through their journey.
